Establishing Water Service (When Home is Currently on Well)

The step-by-step process (as shown below) applies to homeowners that are currently on a private well, but would like to establish a public water service.

Step 1: Establish a service contract with the City of Griffin Water Department

Step 2: Fill out all required SCWA documents

Step 3: Bring all required SCWA documents and a copy of your City of Griffin Service Contract to SCWA Office and remit payment. All documents must be delivered to SCWA Office.

Step 4: Once your application is processed, our team will schedule the installation of your new water meter, providing you with access to clean, safe water.
